Job Purpose
Responsible for teaching students foundational and applied concepts of artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on ethical use, critical thinking, and real-world applications. This role supports students in understanding how AI impacts society while developing computational thinking, creativity, and digital literacy skills.
Main Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging AI lessons aligned with secondary curriculum standards.
- Teach core AI concepts including machine learning basics, data and algorithms, automation, and generative AI.
- Guide students in hands-on, project-based learning using appropriate AI tools.
- Promote ethical AI use, digital citizenship, data privacy, and awareness of bias in AI systems.
- Assess student learning through projects, portfolios, presentations, and formative assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Integrate AI learning with other subjects such as mathematics, science, ICT, and humanities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with leadership and IT teams on AI policy implementation and digital innovation initiatives
- Stay updated with developments in AI and educational technology.
- Provide guidance to students on future pathways and careers related to AI and technology
