Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for an Adjunct Professor at California Science and Technology University, located in Milpitas, CA, with some remote work flexibility. The Adjunct Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum, conducting engaging and rigorous lectures, assessing and evaluating student performance, and providing academic support. They will contribute to program development, maintain accurate records of grades and attendance, and participate in faculty meetings and ongoing training to ensure excellence in teaching.
Qualifications
- Proven teaching experience in higher education and proficiency in curriculum development and delivery
- Strong knowledge in subject areas relevant to the discipline being taught
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective student engagement
- Adaptability to hybrid teaching models combining in-person and remote instruction
- Ability to mentor and support students in achieving academic and professional goals
- Master’s degree or higher in the relevant field; a Ph.D. is preferred
- Experience with online learning platforms and technology integration is a plus
