Position Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Provide clear instructions to students in assigned courses.
- Actively engage with students to foster their participation in the course.
- Maintain accessibility and respond promptly to students, faculty, and University staff.
- Establish and adhere to weekly office hours for addressing students’ questions and providing support.
- Assess students’ performance and offer constructive feedback on assignments.
- Collaborate closely with lead faculty members.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the HCU Faculty Handbook.
Required Academic Skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral presentations and communication.
- Proficiency in utilizing an online Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard or Canvas), standard office software, and mobile applications.
- Mastery in Statistics, Python Programming, R Programming, Data Science, Data Mining, and Deep Learning.
Academic Requirements
- Doctoral or Ph.D. degree granted by an institution accredited by a regional agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Completed 18 graduate semester credit hours in Data Science.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in online teaching at the university level.
- Possession of Data Science courses and certifications from recognized corporate providers such as IBM, Microsoft, Google, and others is preferred.
- Candidates must be located in the United States with permission to work in the United States.
