Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam invites applications for Adhoc Faculty position at IIIT from eligible and interested candidates.
About- Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala, is one of the IIITs established as “Institutions of National Importance” by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIIT Kottayam campus is situated at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam – a picture location spread over in 53 acres of land – allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state commonly referred to as God’s Own Country.
Research/Job Area- Computer Science & Engineering
Location- Indian Institute of Information Technology – Kottayam
Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential: Ph.D in the interdisciplinary areas of Computer Science & Engineering – in the allied areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Software Engineering etc. (Those who have submitted their Ph.D thesis also can apply).
Desirable: (i) Post-Doctoral experience (ii) Teaching experience at UG/PG Level
Age : Preferably below 35 years as on closing date of application.
Job/Position Description-
Application from eligible Indian Nationals, with outstanding academic achievements, ability to establish a vibrant research programme, and with a passion for teaching, are invited for the following faculty positions of the Institute.
Ad-hoc Faculty in Computer Science & Engineering – Interdisciplinary Areas (On Contract – for two semesters – extendable with enhancement in remuneration subject to satisfactory performance)
Emoluments: Consolidated amount of Rs.65,000/- (Rupees Sixty Five thousand only) per month. Applicable TDS will be deducted as per existing provisions.

The Online Interview is scheduled on 17.01.2024 from 10.00 AM onwards. Link for the same will be sent to the prospective candidates on 16.01.2024.
