Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Trainer – English, based in Hubli. The Academic Trainer will conduct training sessions for English teachers on Next Education’s curricula, digital tools, and classroom methodologies, ensuring effective implementation in partner schools. Responsibilities include planning and delivering teacher workshops, demonstration classes, and orientation programs; observing classroom sessions and providing constructive feedback; and supporting schools in integrating technology-enabled English language learning. The role also involves customizing training content to different boards and grade levels, creating or refining training materials, and documenting session outcomes and follow-up needs. The Academic Trainer will collaborate with academic, product, and implementation teams, travel to assigned schools as required, and provide timely reports and insights to improve training quality and curriculum adoption.
Qualifications

  • Strong English language proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication, grammar, and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in English teaching or training at the K–12 level, preferably with exposure to CBSE, ICSE, or state boards.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging teacher training programs, workshops, and classroom demonstrations.
  • Comfort with educational technology, digital content, and SaaS-based learning platforms, with readiness to learn new tools quickly.
  • Effective classroom management, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to guide and motivate educators.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a B.Ed. or formal teacher training qualification is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to plan training schedules, track outcomes, and provide detailed feedback.
  • Willingness to travel to partner schools in and around Hubli as needed and to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
