Leader Education are delighted to be recruiting for a committed and compassionate Learning Mentor to join a successful and well-established SEND school with a strong, supportive community ethos.
This specialist setting provides exceptional education for children and young people aged 2–19, catering to a wide range of additional needs including autism, complex learning difficulties, communication differences, social, emotional and mental health needs, and physical disabilities.
About You
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a SEND or care-focused environment
- A solid understanding of diverse learning needs and a genuine passion for inclusive education
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to create trust and rapport
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach in all situations
- A proactive commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of students
- Experience working with individuals with autism or complex needs (advantageous)
