Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Academic Mentor role based in Bengaluru, offered with a salary of 40,000 for immediate joiners. The Academic Mentor will guide learners in understanding academic concepts, with a particular emphasis on mathematics and related subjects, through structured lessons and doubt-clearing sessions. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of performance. The role involves regular communication with learners and, where applicable, guardians to discuss academic goals, progress, and support strategies. The Academic Mentor will also collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching methods, participate in training as needed, and uphold a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with learners.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and any relevant local language.
- Solid foundation in mathematics and related academic subjects, with the ability to explain concepts in a simple and structured manner.
- Background in education or training, with experience in mentoring, tutoring, or classroom instruction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to manage groups of learners, maintain discipline, and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills, including lesson planning, time management, and record-keeping.
- Willingness to join immediately and work full time on-site in Bengaluru.
