Responsibilities:
- Meet with parents to explain the academic structure and procedures.
- Collaborate with instructors to develop annual teaching plans aligned with the academic calendar.
- Prepare and distribute syllabi, specifying required teaching hours for each subject.
- Ensure that lesson delivery aligns with the academic calendar and planned curriculum.
- Monitor instructor adherence to schedules and teaching standards; take corrective action when necessary.
- Review and sign daily class logs before submission for administrative auditing.
- Follow up on students’ academic performance through regular assessments and exams.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and end-of-year academic performance reports to the Branch Manager.
- Hold regular meetings with instructors to evaluate academic progress.
- Oversee exam preparation, ensuring alignment with taught material and handling distribution and correction procedures.
- Organize cross-branch exam exchanges to support academic benchmarking.
- Review and validate student grades before distribution and address academic weaknesses.
- Collaborate with supervisors to manage student behavior and enforce discipline.
- Monitor the adequacy and quality of lab equipment, especially in technical fields such as hospitality, automotive mechanics, and IT.
- Continuously evaluate instructors’ teaching quality and conduct; recommend replacements when needed.
- Contact parents to address academic or behavioral concerns regarding students.
- Select appropriate textbooks per subject and coordinate distribution with instructors.
- Act as Branch Manager in their absence.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Management, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in academic coordination, teaching, or school management.
- Strong knowledge of educational planning, curriculum implementation, and student evaluation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage teams, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with educational software (experience with Olive system is an asset).
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and dedication to student success.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
