Role Description The Academic Coordinator (Primary & Middle School) is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. The coordinator will oversee academic planning and implementation for primary and middle school, ensuring alignment with the school’s vision and curriculum standards. Daily responsibilities include planning and coordinating lesson plans, reviewing and enhancing curriculum, and monitoring classroom practices to support effective teaching and learning. The role involves mentoring and guiding educators, organizing assessments, analyzing student performance data, and recommending academic interventions. The coordinator will also facilitate communication among teachers, school leadership, and families, support co-curricular integration into academics, and help plan academic events, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Education with experience in school-based academic coordination or leadership.
  • Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing, reviewing, and implementing primary and middle school curricula.
  • Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with students, families, educators, and school leadership.
  • Experience in Academic Advising and guiding educators and learners to support academic growth and well-being.
  • Ability to use Research and data to inform instructional practices, assessments, and academic interventions.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a master’s degree or B.Ed. is preferred.
  • Demonstrated classroom teaching experience at the primary and/or middle school level.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple academic priorities.
  • Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy and holistic development of students.
