Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic 6th/7th/8th Grade Science Teacher to inspire and guide middle school students through their mathematical journey. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative instructional strategies and learning technology tools.
- Teach a diverse range of math topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, discrete math, calculus, and differential equations to middle school students.
- Analyze assessment results to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful, inclusive environment conducive to learning.
- Provide whole group and small group instruction to support students’ unique needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Collaborate with colleagues on school-wide initiatives to enhance educational quality.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Licensed teacher in the state of Nevada.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and instructional design methodologies to enhance student engagement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective instruction and collaboration with colleagues and parents.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies and create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 – $62,500.00 per year
