Position Overview
The teacher will support the mission of Catholic education by creating a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment. This role includes planning and delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and actively participating in the life of the school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and model the mission and philosophy of Catholic education
- Create and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans
- Foster a classroom environment that supports learning, respect, and student growth
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of methods
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with families
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and staff
- Integrate technology effectively to support student learning
- Participate in school activities, faith formation, and professional development
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Catholic faith or willingness to support the mission of Catholic education
- Bachelor’s degree in education (or related field)
- Valid teaching license
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Experience with differentiated instruction
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Comfort integrating technology into instruction
