The Teach for the Philippines (TFP) Fellowship Program is a two-year leadership development opportunity where you'll work as a TFP Fellow alongside a public school and its local community – teaching, leading programs, and strengthening local education systems for lasting change.

This is your chance to grow as an education advocate and build meaningful connections while creating real impact where it matters most.

What does a Fellow do?

  • Year 1: Facilitate literacy, numeracy, and life skills sessions through TFP's Tara, Kaya! Program
  • Year 2: Work with local leaders to co-design and implement capacity-building programs for stakeholders like early childhood development workers, parents (called Gabays), and Alternative Learning System learners 

What else do Fellows participate in?

  • Engage public and private stakeholders to support learners in the community
  • Participate in personal and professional development programs
  • Provide teaching support for DepEd subjects, depending on school-specific assignments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Filipino Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Competent English and Filipino Skills
  • Leadership and/or Organizational Experience
  • Willingness to be deployed in a public school community anywhere in the Philippines for two years
  • Motivation to understand the workings of the Philippine education system at the classroom and local community levels
